New approach to reading characters reflected in Koran (alif, lam, mim, etc)

Font:

It is known that the Holy book of Moslem - Koran has 114 sura and from them 29 begins with characters. Till date the combination of these characters attract an attention of scholars and still remains non-clarified. It is said in Holy Book that using these characters (alif, lam, mim, sad, ra etc) Allah talked with Prophet Mohammad and it is said that they have some hidden meaning. Since Koran became an object of scientific studies and researches a lot hypothesis were formulated by scholars related to these characters' combination. This question had been interesting me since long time. I was introduced a new approach on reading of these characters (alif, lam, mim etc) reflected in Koran, which is explained below:
As it is known there are 28 characters (table I ) in Arabic language, and 13 from them were used in 29 suras of Koran.

If we put in line all 29 suras then we will get a new table consisted of numbers of suras and characters used in suras (Table II).

- 1st column shows combinations of characters.
- 2nd column shows numbers of suras used combinations of characters..
- 3rd column shows numbers of characters matching with numbers of ayat.
Each character has own ordinal number in alphabet. By placing them in alphabetical order we will have, for example: «Alif» - 1, «Lam» - 23, «Mim» -24 etc..
Each sura has certain number of ayats with own ordinal number. Each of 29 sura has combinations of characters. By replacing these characters with their ordinal numbers in alphabet we will get a combination of certain figures, which matches with numbers of ayats in each sura.
For example: there is combinations of characters in II sura «Alif, Lam, Mim».
Ordinal numbers of these characters in alphabet is 1, 23, 24 respectively, which matches with ayats 1, 23, 24 of given sura.
If we will place these ayat by sequence in sura we will get some text commented below
(Table III)
Please, pay an attention on this fact all ayats arranged from suras in given order have logical sequence. Such sequence is not a coincidence. All ideas and hypothesis of scholars have been reflected in such sequence-wise arrangement of combinations and it proves that a given option is hidden thought mentioned above.
The interesting point in given option is that absolutely different text appears while reading it from bottom to up, i.e. vice-versa. (Table IV ). In such foreshortening this text will be mastered in full and in sequence.
Methods prepared at result of long term studies and analyses, to my mind is a quite new approach in explanation and study of Holy Writ.
Undoubtedly harmonicity and reading of these ayats in original, in Arabic language has deeper sense than those which we can read and understand using translated version of Koran. In any case the essence is same: a holy book godsend by Allah is a special gate in realizing truth and a man succeeded to rise though a step is a happy one.

Alif. Lám. Mím.

23

And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sürah like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (if there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.

24

But if ye cannot - and of a surety ye cannot - then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith.

3

1

Alif. Lám. Mím.

23

Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them turn back and decline (the arbitration).

24

This because they say: «The Fire shall not touch us but for a few numbered days»: For their forgeries deceive them as to their own religion.

7

1

Alif, Lám, Mím, Sád.

23

They said: «Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.»

24

(Allah) said: «Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time.»

14

He (Satan)said: «Give me respite till the day they are raised up.»

10

1

Alif. Lám. Rá.

23

But when he delivereth them, behold! they transgress insolently through the earth in defiance of right! O mankind! your insolence is against your own souls,- an enjoyment of the life of the present: in the end, to Us is your return, and We shall show you the truth of all that ye did.

10

(This will be) their prayer therein: «Glory to Thee, O Allah!», and «Peace» will be their greeting therein and the end of their prayer will be: «Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds!»

11

1

Alif. Lám. Rá.

23

Surely (as to) those who believe and do good and humble themselves to their Lord, these are the dwellers of the garden, in it they will abide.

10

And if We make him taste a favor after distress has afflicted him, he will certainly say: The evils are gone away from me. Most surely he is exulting, boasting;

12

1

Alif. Lám. Rá.

23

But she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him, and she fastened the doors, and said: «Now come!» He said: «Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!»

10

Said one of them: «Slay not Joseph, but if ye must do something, throw him down to the bottom of the well: he will be picked up by some caravan of travelers.»

13

1

Alif.Lam.Mim.Ra.

23

Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring: and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation):

24

«Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final Home!»

10

It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly; whether he lie hid by night or walk forth freely by day.

14

1

Alif.Lam.Ra.

23

But those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to Gardens beneath which rivers flow,- to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: «Peace!»

10

Their messengers said: «Is there a doubt about Allah, The Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a term appointed!» They said: «Ah! ye are no more than human, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship: then bring us some clear authority.»

15

1

Alif.Lam.Mim.Ra.

23

And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).

24

To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind.

10

We did send messengers before thee amongst the sects of old:

19

22

So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.

6

« (One that) will (truly) inherit me, and inherit the posterity of Jacob; and make him, O my Lord! One with whom Thou art well-pleased!»

28

«O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste! »

18

She said: «I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah. »

14

And kind to his parents, and he was not overbearing or rebellious.

20

3

But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),-

6

To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil.

26

6

They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at!

12

He said: «O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood:

24

(Moses) said: «The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between, - if ye but sure belief.»

27

6

As to thee, thou receivest the Qurбn from One All-Wise, All-Knowing.

12

«Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression.»

6

To establish a firm place for them in the land, and to show Pharaoh, Haman and their hosts, what they were dreading from them.

12

And We ordained that he refused suck at first, until (his sister came up and) said: «Shall I point out to you the people of a house that will nourish and bring him up for you and take care of him?»

24

So he watered (their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade, and said: «O my Lord! truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!»

29

23

Those who reject the Signs of Allah and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter),- it is they who shall despair of My Mercy: it is they who will (suffer) a most grievous Chastisement.

24

So naught was the answer of (Abraham\'s) people except that they said: «Slay him or burn him.» But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe.

30

1

Alif. Lám. Mím.

23

And among His Signs is the sleep that ye take by night and by day, and the quest that ye (make for livelihood) out of His Bounty: verily in that are Signs for those who hearken.

24

And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise.

31

1

Alif. Lám. Mím.

23

But if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee: to Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds: for Allah knows well all that is in (men\'s) hearts.

24

We grant them their pleasure for a little while: in the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting.

32

1

Alif. Lám. Mím.

23

We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel.

24

And We appointed, from among them, leaders, giving guidance under Our command, so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in Our Signs.

36

28

And We sent not down against his People, after him, any hosts from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do.

12

Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence).

38

14

Not one (of them) but rejected the messengers, but My punishment came justly and inevitably (on them).

40

6

Thus was the Word of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire!

24

To Pharaoh, Haman, and Qarun; but they called (him)» a sorcerer telling lies!»...

41

6

Say thou: «I am but a man like you: it is revealed to me by inspiration, that your God is One God. so take the straight path unto Him, and ask for His Forgiveness.» And woe to those who join gods with Allah,-

24

If, then, they have patience, the Fire will be a home for them! and if they beg for pardon, their suit shall not be granted.

42

6

And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs.

24

What! Do they say, «He has forged a falsehood against Allah.»? But if Allah willed, He could seal up thy heart. And Allah blots out Falsehood, and proves the Truth by His Words. For He knows well the secrets of all hearts.

18

Only those wish to hasten it who believe not in it: those who believe hold it in awe, and know that it is the Truth. Behold, verily those that dispute concerning the Hour are far astray.

12

To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: He enlarges and restricts. The Sustenance to whom He will: for He knows full well all things.

21

What! Have they partners (in godhead), who have established for them some religion without the permission of Allah? Had it not been for the Decree of Judgment, the matter would have been decided between them (at once). But verily the Wrong- doers will have a grievous chastisement.

43

6

But how many were the prophets We sent amongst the peoples of old?

24

He said: «What! Even if I brought you better guidance than that which ye found your fathers following?» They said: «For us, we deny that ye (prophets) are sent (with).

44

6

As Mercy from thy Lord: for He hears and knows (all things);

24

«And leave the sea as a furrow (divided): for they are a host (destined) to be drowned.»

45

6

Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after Allah and His Signs?

24

And they say: «What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us.» But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:

46

6

And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and deny that (men) had worshipped them!

24

Then, when they saw a cloud advancing towards their valleys, they said, «This cloud will give us rain!» «Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- a wind wherein is a Grievous Chastisement!

50

21

And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness.
